These gummies are one of our favourite ways to sneak in powerful nutrition, especially during cold and flu season. If your little one is starting solids, prone to getting sick, or you just want to boost their immune system naturally β these are for you.
π Why elderberry + liver?

Elderberry is packed with antioxidants and vitamin C to help reduce cold symptoms and boost immune response.

Beef liver is natureβs multivitamin: rich in iron, vitamin A, B12, and zinc β all critical for toddler development, energy, and immune function.

Gelatin supports gut health, digestion, and makes them fun and chewy.
We know liver can be intimidating β but when blended into this fruity mix, itβs completely hidden. Trust us. Youβll never taste it.
π§ Elderberry & Liver Gummy Recipe
Youβll need:

2 tbsp elderberry juice or syrup

ΒΌ cup lemon cordial (or orange/apple juice)

1 tbsp honey
-
1 drop vanilla extract
-
1 fruity herbal teabag (super fruits or berry blend)

2 tbsp gelatin
-
1 tsp desiccated beef liver powder (or start with 1/2 teaspoon and increase next time)
To make:

Steep the herbal teabag in ΒΌ cup hot water for 3β5 mins.

In a small saucepan, combine elderberry, juice, honey, vanilla, and steeped tea.

Sprinkle in gelatin and whisk well.

Once smooth, stir in liver powder until fully dissolved.

Pour into silicone moulds or a lined tray.

Set in fridge for 1β2 hours until firm.
Pop out and store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 7 days.

Use fun shaped moulds to make them more appealing

Start with half the amount of liver

Offer with breakfast or after nap as a βspecial treatβ (hello, placebo magic)
