🍋 Ginger, Orange & Lemon Immunity Gummies for Kids (Cold Season Favourite)

Winter germs knocking at your door again?
If your kids are coughing, snotty, or just run down, these homemade citrus immunity gummies are the perfect sick-day snack.

They’re packed with vitamin C, natural anti-inflammatory ingredients, and taste like those chewy chemist lollies — but way better for them.

🍊 Immunity Gummies for Cold Season

You’ll need:

  • ½ cup orange juice (fresh or store bought)

  • 2 tbsp lemon juice

  • 1 tbsp honey

  • 1–2 tsp fresh grated ginger (use less if your kids don’t love spice)

  • 2 tbsp gelatin powder (or agar-agar for vegetarian version)

  • Optional: dash of vanilla or turmeric for colour

To make:

  1. Gently heat orange juice, lemon juice, ginger and honey in a small saucepan (don’t boil).

  2. Sprinkle gelatin in while whisking until dissolved.

  3. Pour into moulds or a lined dish.

  4. Refrigerate until set (around 1–2 hours).

  5. Pop out and store in the fridge.

🌡 Why these ingredients work:

  • Ginger: Natural anti-inflammatory, soothes sore throats

  • Honey: Antibacterial, soothes coughs

  • Lemon & Orange: High in vitamin C to support immune function

  • Gelatin: Supports gut health and adds that fun chewy texture

💛 Toddler-approved and mum-hack certified:

  • Make ahead and store in the fridge

  • Naturally coloured and flavoured

  • No added sugar or syrups

  • A great mum-to-mum trick for keeping kids well during winter
