No-Bake Easter Egg Slice with Pretzels – The Ultimate Sweet & Salty Easter Treat for Kids and Grown-Ups!

Looking for easy Easter recipes for toddlers, babies, and the whole family? This no-bake Easter egg slice is a total crowd-pleaser — it's fun, festive, and packed with crunchy, chocolatey, sweet-and-salty goodness. Perfect for busy parents who want something quick, cute, and totally irresistible to share with the kids this Easter.

The Perfect Easter Treat (with a salty twist!)

We love a no-bake slice in our house. Especially one you can throw together during nap time and have ready in the fridge before the next snack request hits.

This Easter egg slice is everything you want in a festive treat:
✔️ quick
✔️ low-mess
✔️ customisable
✔️ sweet with a salty crunch
✔️ toddler + adult approved (seriously, so good with a cuppa)

You can make it with your toddler (they’ll love smashing the biscuits), and it's a perfect treat to bring to Easter brunch, daycare parties, or just keep in the fridge for “Mum snacks”.

No-Bake Easter Egg Slice with Pretzels Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 packet Marie biscuits (or digestive), crushed

  • 1 tin (395g) sweetened condensed milk

  • 1 tbsp cocoa powder

  • 1 cup desiccated coconut

  • 1 heaped cup mini Easter eggs, halved or chopped

  • 1 big handful salted pretzels, roughly broken

  • Optional: 1/8 cup oats (Mum hack – add if the mix is a bit too sticky!)

  • Optional: Melted chocolate to drizzle on top

Method:

  1. Crush it up – In a large bowl, combine crushed biscuits, cocoa, coconut, condensed milk, and mini eggs chopped roughly.

  2. Mix it all together – Stir well. If it feels too sticky, add the oats — it gives the perfect texture and helps it set nicely.

  3. Press & drizzle – Press firmly into a lined slice tin. Drizzle with melted chocolate if you're feeling fancy. Crumbles eggs and pretzels over top, press down lightly.

  4. Chill – Pop it in the fridge for at least 3 hours or until set. Slice into squares and store in an airtight container in the fridge (if it lasts that long).

Make It Your Own:

Swap in whatever you’ve got — jelly beans, chopped marshmallows, chopped dried fruit, or choc chips all work a treat. Don’t have pretzels? Crushed popcorn or salted peanuts are delicious too.

For the Little Ones:

If you’re making this for younger toddlers or babies:
👶 Use unsweetened cocoa or leave it out
👶 Go light on the Easter eggs and pretzels (or chop them finely)
👶 Press into silicone moulds to make mini “bites” that are easy to hold

Happy Easter from Team Looma!
